Early flowering wildflowers. Spinifex, saltbushes, shrubs and stunted trees in arid environment. Resting on top of Mt Cowra. Huge Emus and kangaroos looking at us curiously. Enjoying a warm fire and dinner after a day’s hike at Mt Crosier campground. Wild fungus pushing itself out of the sandy soil. A water tank at the camps provided us with water. Dripping bushes after major rainfall on the last day of our hike. Lake Becking in the background. Early bright yellow blossoms with warm daily temperatures of 20°.
