8 of us has a wonderful trip we stayed 4 nights in the historic Caves House and Yarrangobilly caves where we visited 3 caves, one with hard hat and torch - we learnt all about stalactites, stalagmites, shawls and columns - stunningly beautiful caves. whilst there we had a swim in the thermal pool and walked along the yarrangobilly river. We took a drive along Long Pains drive to visit the Blue waterholes and Clarke gorge - a fabulous walk along the gorge crossing the river 10 times to get to the waterfall to have out lunch and then back- we also visited Coolamine homestead. On to 4 nights at Currango Homestead near Tantangara Dam - a simple homestead but in a wonderful setting - the next 3 days were spent walking to some old huts, Peders Hut, Love nest in the Salleee, Oldfields hut , Old Currango and more.  Hundreds of brumbies sighted galloping across the plains.  We did a beautiful Murrumbidgee River walk through the snow gums to the river which was a tiny stream which we could wade across- we spent one day on the Australian Alps Walking track walking towards the Bimberi wilderness .   on to Jindabyne for the next 3 nights via Cooma and the Snowy Hydro discovery Centre.  the next day we went up the chairlift , walked over the Rams Head and down to Dead Horse Gap and back along the river to Thredbo.  out last day was an easy walk along the Thredbo river and  a long lunch at the distillery - a very enjoyable trip was had by all -
