Christmas Walk #3 Dromana to Martha Cove. The walk will be along a path or gravel track that follows the water’s edge of Port Phillip Bay then onto the Martha Cove marina boardwalk. Limited steps with 60 steps at the steepest section where there is a (usually working) lift.
This is the third of four Christmas walks which aim to finish around the same time in Dromana where all walk participants will have afternoon tea together. |

Macalister Springs - Mounts Howitt, Buggery & Magdala. Day 1 - Drive from Melbourne to Howitt Car park via Traralgon & Licola. A 5 km walk to Macalister Springs to camp for 3 nights. Note that we will camp near the Vallejo Gantner Memorial hut and therefore near the toilets. Day 2 - Explore the AAWT north to Mount Buggery. Day 3 - head south on the AAWT to Mount Magdala past Hells Window. Day 4 - Return on same track to cars for drive back to Melbourne. |

Clarkefield to Riddells Creek. Travel by V/Line to Clarkefield which is one station beyond Sunbury on the Bendigo line (myki usable). Walk from Clarkefield to Riddells Creek mainly along quiet rural roads. At the end of the walk, catch V/Line from Riddells Creek to Footscray (Metro Tunnel connections) or Southern Cross. Please don't book unless you are sure of being on the walk. |

Flinders Island & Cape Barren Island. This is camping only trip based at Trousers Point. Cost covers airfare, bus hire, day excursion to Cape Barren Island by boat and a few other expenses. We will explore most of the island. Walks are mostly easy with our hardest walk being Strezlecki Peak for those who wish to do it. |

Central Tas 2027. Visit some iconic Tassie bushwalking locations. The Never Never, Cathedral Mt, Traveller Range, Mt Spurling, Mountains of Jupiter, Mt Rogoona & Lakes Chalice, Junction, Payanna, Artemis, Meston & Myrtle plus innumerable alpine tarns. Camp high on the ranges with fabulous views & sunsets. 50% is tracked or on rough footpads. Consequently, some of the walk may involve conditions from open off-track to pushing through thick scrub.

Some walks descend before lunch with steep ascents after lunch. The rewards are amazing vistas worth all the effort as they include some iconic high-country walks

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Carr Boyd Ranges and Purnululu. Wondering if there is interest in walking either one of two tours in NT/WA of Carr Boyd ranges Nth & Sth over 14 Days or Purnululu over 10 days. I shall be doing both, but you may be interested in one or both.
Guided by an experienced guide in the NT and WA. Light packs, tent, sleeping gear, b'fast and lunch, you don't need to carry cooking equipment as the guide will cook our dinner & have hot water. The company is NoTraces BushWalking Australia. Dates 16/4-29/4 & 30/4-9/5/27 Cost $7K for both. |

Autumn in the Blue Mts. Enjoy the cooler days and autumn weather walking 6 iconic Blue Mt walks within the area of Blackheath, Katoomba and Leura. Walking deep into canyons, along ridgelines, under mini climate undercliffs. Most walks are linear. Preference will be given to committed walkers for 5 or the 6 days.
Either drive of fly. Maybe passengers if driving.
